Family Titles and Names
In English, we have simple words for Aunty, Uncles, Parents, Grandparents etc. But some cultures have more names. We looked at the differences. See our lesson handouts Lesson Page
Buying and Selling
We talked about buying and selling. Our discussion included sayings, shop types and the differences between NZ and other countries. We also looked at our rights and who to go to for help if there is a problem with a product or service. Lesson Page
Where To Get Help
A great place to look to get help is the Citizens Advice Bureau. They are a free service who give advice to anyone who asks. https://www.cab.org.nz/
